Hey, this is just a monthly idea which I just check up with you guys, upload a few things. So lets get started!

A girl who lived nearby has just died of cancer and well it’s been a tough time. She had a head tumour and she sadly lost the battle. My Chemical Romance are favourite band and I think they have meaningful music.

I right now am in love with tresemme’s Volume and Lift hair moose. It is really good and gives your hair great body and volume no matter how flat it starts out.

Life in general.

Hey guys, so recently my life has had a few ups and downs. Like I mentioned earlier on, a friend of mine has died of cancer. Very sad I know. But other than that life has been pretty cool. I still go to skate parks with my friends but now I also go to bike tracks and then the local park. ( For photography) I have had trouble with guys recently but to be honest right now I prefer them as friends. Ice skating I have just learnt how to do jumps and spins (Result!) and I’m really enjoying it at the moment. I have just started to choose my options at school. The ones I plan on picking are Business and Ict and if I can food tech. I don’t know why but I have always seen myself doing business.

The power of photo editors

Hey guys, this post is kind of a follow on from the post “Being body confident.” Today I heard that the site “Picnik” Photo editor was closing down therefore I took a visit for one of the last time.

I wanted to see how powerful the program really is so I found some photos off the internet that I believe could be made better with an editor.

As you can see with the results, I did quite an okay job if I do say so myself ( I sound a bit cocky here) . But my whole point is if I, a fourteen year old could achieve this with a free editor, than when celebrities get their photos edited… What do they look like at first? They will have professional software at hand that will most likely cost a lot of money but I just used a website of the internet. This proves that not all celebrity photos are how they seem to look. Take Britney Spears as an example.

On these photos, she was staring in an ad and asked for her photo to be taken and she agreed. Without her permission they edited it but she luckily saw them before they were released so banned the air brushed photos going to the public.

I’m going through so much drama at the moment.. Friends family boys(so confusing but i suppose they dont matter right now)… I think every teenager has it happen to them though.

Beauty tip of the week: greasy hair.

*Please note that if you have dark hair then I suggest you use a minimal amount as it might show in your hair

Let’s be honest. We all have those days when we wake up for school / work and our hair looks as If we have ran lard through it. The worst part is.. You have woken up late and so will be late for your job or school so no time for a shower! What to do What to do?

But fear not! Just a tiny bit of baby powder ran through the hair will do the trick as It takes the grease right out of our hair*! Apply it to the roots of your hair ( not too much) and then comb it out and it will take the grease with it leaving it looking fine.

Sorry I haven’t been updating as often as I would like, got my exams coming up pretty scary things ey? I have just had my Spanish exams and fingers crossed it has gone to plan (I hope) so expect more to come in the future I’m not giving up on blogging!

My boring but unique January

Now that the joys of December are no longer with us (sigh) we are out of excitement! January to me is my least favourite month, as Christmas and New Year have ended and its ages away from summer. What I do like though is being able to start all over again and being free from the mistakes we made the year before. (Believe me I had my fair share last year!)

It is also a new chance for us to go for a new daring hairdo/ makeup look. To be honest I don’t feel that much of a difference coming on for me yet. The only thing that has changed about me this year is the fact I started to back comb my hair. ( Why must it damage our hair?!)I have rambled on a bit here, now for the interesting parts!

What I did over the holidays and early January

During the holidays, (late December I suppose) me and my friends went to the local skate park a couple times. I’m not a skater by the way, I go to support my two friends Matt and James as the rarely get an audience (bless their souls). Me and my girl friends actually really enjoy seeing them do what they love. I can honestly say it’s such a good and adrenaline filled atmosphere, sometimes pretty scary though but exciting at the time. I would recommend it for girls who are into skater guys or ones that are into more exciting activities. Not really for the girly girls (sorry!) but if you get the chance to try it, then what you waiting for? Try it! You never know you might enjoy it.

Casual yet cute make up.

Of course you want to dress the part to go, so I put together what I would recommend wearing.

Also, you want to have decent hair of course (Hello...guys go skating!) but nothing too special, as you don’t want to look like you are trying too hard because at the end of the day it’s a skate park, not a dinner date.I would say a messy bun or pony tail would be

stylish and perfect for a skate park. But I just straightened mine as I don't suit my hair up.

I get that  skate parks are not every bodies cup of tea so you may want to consider ice skating, it’s a great thing to get involved in with a lot of opportunities. It can be embarrassing when you first start (falling over- EEK!) but at the end of the day even the pros had to start somewhere right?!

For ice skating all you need to consider wearing is something which is warm, flexible yet comfortable, I recommend leggings and they go with almost everything.

So yeah, all my January will consist of is skate parks, hanging out with my friends, ice skating and of course the January sales!

Winter will eventually pass guys! Then here comes my favourite time of the year... SUMMER!
